The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to your community.
SASSA might be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency reported it is actually alarmed regarding the significant quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some substantial range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office focused on service the area every day. The support place designed for intervention activities a higher inflow SRD of probable beneficiaries, that makes it tough for the Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more resources to allow the servicing of all buyers and enhance use of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
For more information, community members can call toll free during working days/hours on 0800 60 10 11 and SRD WhatsApp on 082 046 8553. - SAnews.gov.za
